Actually you are wrong. Pedophilia is literally defined as the sexual attraction to children. The abuse itself is referred to as child sexual abuse or child molestation.

But I think we all agree they should burn in hell no matter what the semantics are.

While I'm inclined to agree with you and initially thought that it was correct to separate them, this push to isolate those with just a sexual attraction to children vs those who've raped a child is just another push to normalize the sexual attraction. So fuck it, and fuck them for trying.

I get your point, even the attraction is disgusting. Normalization should NEVER EVER EVER happen.

But thoughts are not a crime...only actions. Those people can possibly be helped with medication or therapy. Or if all else fails, maybe lobotomy.
