Well heck I'm 53 now, if I haven't found it yet I don't know if I will, lol. Tried a t-shirt printing business but because of equipment issues from the begining, then my mom passed away (which I had to leave town to be with her for about a month before she passed, then figuring things out afterwards because we didn't expect her to die, she was sick from her chemo, then finding a lawyer to help with estate and grieving...), then hit with the taxes from starting the business even though I hadn't even had a chance to sell anything. I let it go, it was all too much and we had no money left, husband had just retired but ended up having to go back to work. I still have all my equipment that works great (because the company I bought it from made it right in the end, which took a long time), tons of shirts, some bags, printing accessories, ect... So I just print stuff for us or friends. Thinking about selling it all. I can work a bit with graphics but I'm not an artist or a pro at it.
Are you crazy?? You have the perfect set up for Q - tees or Patriot tees. Why not do that? The key is having a great design. But if you don't have the money to pay for an artist on fiverr or upwork, for now you could do Text shirts. Stuff like Q - is for question everything. Or whatever. You can do it!
What's keeping you from getting back at it? Maybe synch up with an up and coming social media personality and offer to supply them with merchandise they can sell at better cost than they are currently getting ... or for a percentage of the profits. I believe you got 90% there and had to stop, but I know you can do it. It may change your life.
To start up again, good lord, they make you jump through hoops to just start a simple business and the taxes crazy. We paid out thousands and thousands of dollars in taxes. I don't know if I can go through making sure I get all the required things needed again. Last time we got tax numbers and put in for different things the county & state said we needed, then later they say did you get this filed for this ID number.... We even went to meetings the county held to help businesses get started but they don't give you all the information you need, like the places you have to file to get ID's or whatever, then you find out later in the mail the government is going to fine us because we didn't file something. I'm just a simple person who dropped out of college (was going to be a chef, that was when I loved to cook, however now I'm not at all interested in cooking, lol), to be a mom and a wife to a military man, and as military people do they move a lot. I wish I had known someone who could have helped me through the whole process of starting the business.
You should may Q shirts. I’d buy one. Especially if it said, “where the hell is Q?”
