My work never required one for my pay-level. Upper level staff and management had to wear them though. According to the owner. Us lower level stooges were expendable assets and it’d be a waist of money to bother with it for us.

Since work didn’t require it. I was rarely ever in an area that would require masks. So it never particularly came up as an issue. And even could ignore such stupidity existed most days.
