Vancouver has been taken over by China long ago. I went to a UFC fight night in Vancouver in 2015 and couldn't believe how many Chinese people there were. I am saying that as someone from Seattle too. They own a lot of property in BC.

Hong Kong owns Vancouver. They started buying everything after the crash in the 80's. Lots of prime real estate.
