Vancouver has been taken over by China long ago. I went to a UFC fight night in Vancouver in 2015 and couldn't believe how many Chinese people there were. I am saying that as someone from Seattle too. They own a lot of property in BC.

Vancouver is the Chinese business class' home away from home. Even with restrictions on foreign investment, the Chinese have bought up a good chunk of the real estate market.

Yup. The suburb of Richmond is a full-blown Chinese colony. The car dealerships advertise in Chinese instead of English.

Hong Kong owns Vancouver. They started buying everything after the crash in the 80's. Lots of prime real estate.
