Interesting.
In the beginning was the word and Christ is the word made flesh.
Entropy is the heat death of everything, a process of disorganisation. It follows that the original word that made us must have been very organised indeed, and this is what physicists have found, Sir Roger Penrose and others.
Coming out of nothing was something so complicated, highly organised and deep that is far beyond our capabilities of comprehension, this came to be instantly out of nowhere and created everything.
This is the word and Christ is the word made flesh,
Imagine you place a drop of water into a large pool.
At first you see the waves, and they bounce and shrink. Smaller and smaller until you can no longer make out the ripple.
To think that the energy has evened out and that is that is now gone, or dead, is inaccurate.
The energy has simply spread and divided/multiplied. That single drop of water's energy will eventually fill the entire body of water. Every wave that exists in the pool of water will eventually be affected by the ripple of the drop. They come into communion, if you will.
But the energy didn't die. It permeated the entire body of water and became one with it. It isn't a settling of energy, it is a merging of energy. They will come into unity and resonate together in harmony, finding the difference between the two and creating something more than, or rather unique to, the sum of its parts.
The Universe functions the same way, but before analogies of matter can touch.
The spreading of the energy is not a disorganization, but rather a celebration much like the prodigal son returning to his father.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. - Luke 15:24
Just as the shores of the sea recede and then again are brought back together with the land, entropy is not a permanent and final end. It is a fleeting and frequent moment of celebration that we once again come together in perfect harmony, ready to go forward once again at the turn of the tide.

Cue "Ripple" by The Grateful Dead.
