It's hard to ignore the similarity but highly unlikely that these pricks travel the world doing the kidnapping themselves.

I think they were in the area at the time, maybe visiting Clem Freud. I can't remember.

I'm sure they would love to do the kidnapping themselves, it would be an extra kick for them. Not normal, these people.
