It takes an uncommon degree of psychological resilience to be able to say "Well, shit, there are some /really/ bad people in the echelons of power." Many simply cannot handle the truth and will not forsake the bliss of ignorance until they're on the precipice of destruction. I think that's going to be the vaccines.
