Don't pretend to be too shocked by this because this is considered normal according to the Quranic teachings of Islam and the Talmudic teachings of Orthodox Judaism.

This is not a recent development.

The key word is "consider normal". The Quran and the Talmud condone things that are disgusting and illegal including murder of infidels or goyim and sexual perversions with underage children. We need to be shocked because that is a good, natural response to people using religion or religious texts to engage in perversion and condone sin.
