General fear/anxiety levels tend to drive decisions so being scared enough to do one thing suggest they are more likely to be scared about other things as well...

90+% of all fears and anxieties are about what people have gotten into the habit of feeling in certain situations/about certain things rather than there actually being a real reason for them having those feelings(think about it.....)
