True that!
I think it's funny how people say they don't like Trump because he's "not presidential" well, I think they've just been manipulated into thinking that being a slimey bureaucrat who will say or do anything to achieve a hidden agenda is what being presidential is, when in fact, Donald Trump has reminded many people that the whole point is to be a leader in the face of adversity and to weather the storms raging around you to be able to establish justice and liberty for the benefit of those who can't help themselves, even when people are slandering you falsely.
The countless anecdotes that were being shared about Trump's character behind closed doors such as his welcoming embrace to his minority cleaners etc. was another key example of why Trump is presidential and that we haven't had that for a good while, until DJT.
I had tuned out of all politics for a while, and was never inclined to listen to any politician including Trump ... and the MSM background repetition had seeped in enough for me to assume he was bad back in 2016. (Even so I couldn't stomach Hillary, so she didn't get my vote.) It was the MSM overkill after his election that made me start paying attention again, and Trump's own statements throughout that time stood out clearly as being totally different from the coverage.
They are simpleton. Plain as that.
I must admit, sometimes it's hard to be optimistic about the general population.
It's especially startling when you're presenting an alternative perspective to someone you know and they are regurgitating what they've heard the MSM say and ask you for proof of what you're saying but then when you offer to provide it to them they disconnect from the topic and it's as if you had never offered.
