Im talking to a friend in NY. We got in a huge fight last year and havent spoke to each other since. He moved back to NY. Hes telling me this morning how he doesnt think NY has police at the moment.
Anybody have more info on this?

My friend is upstate.
I'm in upstate NY. Saw a state trooper on traffic duty and a sheriff driving around. Nothing unusual around me.
Cops have pulled back, you see less of them because they are not running around as much.
I don't blame them. Would you want to be proactive or do anything to draw attention to yourself with cops getting indicted left and right as political ploys?

There is an unmarked van that has been parked across the street. I'm pretty sure the agents inside are here to keep me safe.
