Fight battles worth fighting, this isn’t one of them.
I hate windows but c# and visual studio are just straight up amazing. All microsoft products. We shouldn’t handicap ourselves, rather, work towards getting rid of the woke faggots running good technology.
Alternatively, you’re not smart enough to see the irony of it. Considering how bright the guy is, they might not have a choice but to host ie. IE, try to take it down, takes out a whole node/data center. etc.
I'm pretty sure 8.8.8.8 is Google's DNS service. You can set it manually, if you really want to, and have them be the ones to translate the web addresses you type in (like www.google.com) and connect you with the server via IP on the backend. You can also use 1.1.1.1 for CloudFlare's DNS service. Could be whatever datacenter they're using routes through Google, or uses Google fiber as their backbone.
How do you avoid it? A handful of companies own everything, and they're all evil. What's he going to do, build his own worldwide network? You could do something with TOR and the deep web but that has it's own problems.
yeah i do see your point, maybe google's leadership has been factionalized by getting rid of schmidt? so that no one agenda can be implemented? idk, its a good question you're asking though
McAfee was doing podcasts from a faraday cage, stayed virtually off radar, but those falling for this countdown accept his DMS runs through Google. ok.
So what leads you to believe whacked.dev is “the” files or the right trail?
Debunking is great and appreciated.
If the files exist, I do not believe there will be fanfare, countdown timers and such. As I said before, it is not an equitable plan for anyone who potentially possesses the files or keys and knows how to release them.
Logical thinking applies to such a hot potato.
Do the files exist, your guess is as good as mine….
Such an approach would waste enemy resources, increase pressure and potentially result in fatally flawed actions or whistleblowers switching sides in a last ditch attempt to cover their asses.
Agree! Actually I was proposing / supporting that that there are Larps for the JM potential dump just as they are Q paytriots taking advantage.
Thinking if the data exits as JM said ( Several have it) they may be the most wanted ppl in the world right now by those who stand the most to loose. My guess is if it drops, it will be like a leaf in the forrest falling and then found. No countdowns etc. just poof, there it is.
Kind of a stupid question, but does Google have a public service for registering domain names on their 8.8.8.8 server? I use 8.8.8.8 as a fallback for my Dnsmasq server, but i've never had the impression that was a DNS server that anyone can make new domains on.
Okay then, McAfee hosting the domain name and server on Google services wouldn't make a lot of sense. Granted the [DS] can still block other services, but it seems like a really bad idea to host a dead man's switch right on Google's servers.
The question is who is the honey pot for? I can't imagine there's too much information the [DS] could get from a list of IP addresses accessing their site.
The highest possibility option I can think of is that some anon did it as a joke, to see if the Deep State would ddos their own servers?
Can’t exactly escape google when they pretty much own everything

I’ve been in and out of the industry since before google existed.
brilliant! I so would have gone there!
F# is more amazing than C#

I see this excuse a lot. "They are using the enemy's tools!"
As Q said, "You have been selected to help serve your Country. Never retreat from the battlefield [Twitter, FB, etc.]."

It makes no sense at all, this isn't the play of a mad genius, it's how a soy drinking agent would do it.

What I don't understand is why he didn't post the files encrypted and checksummed long before now, so only the key needed to be released.
This is why I think this is a big larp.
The odds that however many TB of data could be successfully released in this way after the DMS triggered are pretty much 0.
The Blockchain idea is cool but seems like too much data to store on a Blockchain. The whole Ethereum Blockchain is only 500GB
Oh well...

then they wd track down the physical location of your little indie server and blow up the building

They shut it off. Let's say it was legit, but it could have been replaced.

There well could be a fanfare and a fake trace.

Hot take. Lindell supposedly has 37tb of stolen election data he’s supposed to broadcast live on aug 2. What if….. lol
There is a lot of shaping here.
