Keeping with that thought, According to the bible we are approaching the 6000 year delta of the date of creation. God created all things in 6 days and on the 7th He rested.

6 days of creation = 6 thousand years. 1 day of rest = Revelation 20. Satan is locked away for 1000 years to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2020&version=NIV Just something to consider.

Six days of creation and 1 day of rest = 7 thousand years

Furthermore, see Genesis 2. Verse 4 starts a new section of the original Hebrew. So the "account" pertains to what follows instead of what proceeds.

If you look closely, man was created on the 3rd day of creation. Why? Because Man was alone when created and God then created the animals and birds trying to find a suitable helper. God created Man on the day he created the heavens and the earth, the third day.
