could be the extra rain everywhere tbh
I'm in southern California, no such thing as extra rain.
in texas suprisingly its incredibly humid and rainy everywhere. same in ny and the past few summers have been incredibly arid.
2nd year in a row of fly infestation. No matter how clean you are, bins outside, far away from the house, sealed, you still have tons of flies and maggots in the underground bins.
Yeah, recently made that observation.
YES!! It seems like an order of magnitude more flies lately. So many that when they swarm my dogs' waste, you can actually hear them from a good 15 feet away.
Same, the bug zapper in my kitchen is on 24/7. Fills up every day! Outside even worse, put a fan with 2 Irish spring soap bars blowing on them, keeps em at bay.
I started at one and said to my wife, this year's different right? Way more flies than usual...
She said yeah some other people have mentioned that... (She still looks at Facebook)
Yes i even had to buy some more fly swaters the other day.
We have crazy amounts of flies. I just chalked it up to having a chicken coop this year.
Yet there don’t seem to be many flies INSIDE the coop…🤷♀️
Not where I live (SE MI)...they are almost non existent. Our city did give everyone 95 gallon trash and yard waste cans with lids...so a lot less due to this maybe.
I think Trump shut off some of their geoengineering.
You must have my flies. I have seen very few this year. We do have lots of fireflies and dragonflies.
