Once you get the mama bear growling, you might see a change of heart.
If she still won't budge, consider putting your child(ren) in private school - they are less likely than the public schools to force masks on the kids. I am fortunate enough that my son was able to attend a private school all last year and never had to mask up in school. That was the answer for us, we thank God every day for it - maybe it's something to think about for your kid(s). My son got to have a more normal life than the vast majority of his peers last year.
