I don't mind disagreement, but when it comes to fundamental rights, I do believe we should be killing people who disagree. Maybe I'm weird, though, because I read the Bible and believe it. Certain things you say can damn you forever, and there are punishments for speech in the Bible.
Let me give you an example of what speech I would consider a capital crime:
"Unborn children are not human and it is not a crime to kill them."
"You do not have a right to disagree with the government. Even if government is wrong, you cannot say so because it will cause problems."
"It's ok to engage in deviant sexual behavior outside of marriage."
"We should limit what kinds of weapons people can own or keep in their homes and property."
I know I am at the extreme, but it's high time we questioned "liberalism" altogether. Our Founding Fathers were extreme in their defense of rights that God gave us, not in freedom, after all.
I downvoted you but didn't want to scurry away without commenting.
God created us with FREE WILL. In fact, we have the FREEDOM to reject our own creator. That fact that God gave us the power (IMHO) negates what you wrote.
Either you live by every word that comes from the mouth of God, or you choose some other way.
If you choose some other way, you have chosen death. Spiritual, physical, everything death.
When Joshua lead the people of Israel into Canaan, he didn't ask them how they felt about slaughtering the Canaanites or what their opinion was on geopolitical events of his time. He slaughtered the Canaanites and praised God for it.
I agree to a point. The only way is Jesus. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God (aka Jesus - sorry Mormons). That said we should try our best to follow the Word and not the lies of men (sorry religious people). Once truth is exxposed, you can be held accountable for rejecting it. Listen up "christians" Jahova wrote the Commandments with His own (physical) being. It would take an equivilent / specific command to change it. You can choose to ignore God and say "it doesnt matter" because some "man of god" taught me that way and I won't change because I your Pride says that know better than God. That's on you brother/sister. You can't say you didn't know.
(general commentary, not intended as a reply directly to above comment).
I'm sort of a different person.

That's where we need to be.
Good cannot coexist with evil. Good will triumph.
