Case number are not to be believed Deaths 501,811 These are the reported deaths received by the CDC. However, this number is inflated with deaths from other causes, but the patient had a positive PCR test at the time. CDC states: “The number of deaths that mention one or more of the conditions indicated is shown for all deaths involving COVID-19 and by age groups.
