Her coach told her prior to her vault, you must get a 10. She went on to score 2 10's in a row.
Amazing.
Simone wore GOAT on her leotard, but withdrew because of pressure?
Mary Lou might not have performed the difficulty of modern gymnasts, but the pressure was the same.
Worth a look as a great reminder.
I wholeheartedly agree. I just shitposted the same thing.

I loved your post. I was 6 years old when that movie came out and remember watching it like yesterday.
My father hated it and was amazed i liked it so much.
He told me when i get older i would think differently about it, but to his dismay, i still love the original star wars.
I do hate every star wars that Kathryn Kennedy has touched since.
So sad, to destroy something so beautiful.
My other favorite movies from that era is breaking away, alien and blade runner.
Check them out if you havnt seen.
Masterpieces.
I watched Aliens as a favorite. Can't remember if I saw the first one, Alien. I agree, the original Star Wars were the best. I have a ton of favorites from the 80's, Caddyshack, Top Gun, Airplane, etc. I quote Caddyshack and Airplane almost every day. I could probably hold an entire conversation with movie quotes from those two movies alone. The script writing back then was beyond good. Nowadays it's all a out special effects and CGI. I love great movie scripts.
Do we have Clearence, Clarence? Roger. Huh? What's our vector, Victor. Roger. Huh? Over, Ober. Roger. Huh?
Surely you can't be serious. I am serious. And stop calling me Shirley.
Lol, funny as hell. I loved airplane, but that movie could not be made today.
Sad AF.
Princess Bride and Ferris Bueller were my go to's. I have had an entire conversation that lasted for hours that was nothing but a back and forth of 80s movies, mostly Princess Bride. Not a quote off, but a real conversation that used nothing but quotes (it was a kindred spirit moment).
I've seen both PB and FB over a hundred times each. Caddyshack, probably not more than 20.
Its been a while for that one. Maybe I will take a break tomorrow and watch it.
Love me some Carl.
