I think they realize they shot their wad for nothing by turning drudge into MSNBC for the written word. Only the 4-6% of unreachable brain dead types need to hear the same parrot echos over and over again. The overwhelming majority of people just move on to more fertile reading venues.

They could have far more effectively used the site for the occasional introduction of deceptive pieces to sew doubt in the minds of the masses. As it stands, they are just wasting time and money chasing their tails around in circles. And now there is no going back. As Q so aptly states: "these people are stupid."
