There all these news stories that the Delta variant is super contagious and is spreading like wildfire etc. How does anybody know it is a Delta variant or any other variant. Or is it all just speculation?

There is no test. There is info on the CDC website how they determine this. I don't quite understand it. They take somewhere between 750 to 2000 specimens a week and look at genome sequencing to determine the variant and then guess how many cases are from the new variant based on how many showed from the sample.
No.
One of my friends told me that he knows someone who can personally vouch that WSU (I might be getting the place wrong, but its in Washington) did full genomic sequencing on 300 patients and found 296had delta. I am only putting this as a data point. Personally I dont believe the story and I have been trying to get more details from him - like what machine did they use? Did they send them elsewhere or did the sequencing inhouse? etc. But nothing solid.
My guess is that this guy that my friend knows is one of the scientists who toe the globalist line. If I can disprove this account, even my friend (who is blackpilled) might open his eyes.
If there were a test, Fauci would be in 10 different YouTube Influencer videos telling you how it works and why black people made it.
Unless I missed those videos about the Delta Variant specific tests getting shoved down my gullet hole the last time I went to YouTube, no.
No, there is not test to see if you have the Delta Variant.
