Apparently the further away you look the hazier it gets because there are so many different possibilities. What if they were able to use that technology and came up with a plan so perfect that no matter how it played out, certain key events would happen a.k.a. nothing can stop what's coming. "We have so much evidence, so many people in key places that it's gonna come out no matter what".
