It does not bode well.

There was supposed to be a big protest in Sydney today, but it was stopped with patrols and roadblocks to keep the people from gathering.

I was wondering why French are more effective than Australians repelling the police. France has about 65 million people and Australia has only 25.5 million. Also France is more densely populated. It is small fraction of the size of Australia. So people are really spread out.
