Another thing to try when you are feeling symptoms is to alternate between hot and cold in the shower, as this stimulates the monocytes apparently:

Whoa we used to get told to try doing that in the locker room by our trainer when I played Rugby in high school. We were told something about "heat shock proteins" being very effective for recovery. I wonder if its related.
I'm not sure, this study is specific to helping immune response and specifically monocyte generation which Covid tends to disrupt. It would be different to muscle recovery. Either way it's cool to have multiple applications.
