Incorrect. First off, The Offspring is not a punk band. I would classify it as a punk-inspired mainstream rock band. Secondly, real punk was very anti-establishment and libertarian. See: Johnny Rotten (Lydon), The Clash, Crass, Rudimentari Peni, and T.S.O.L as examples. The fact that some punkers have embraced soyness in their later years (Mike Ness, NoFX, Green Day, etc.) is just testament that liberals never concoct original ideas of their own but merely co-opt them and rebrand them but keep the original words.
