I just find that the American revolution was very different the the French Revolution. The Jacobins were clearly socialist and were looking to take control of power, where the American's were really an advocate for middle class and disinterested power.
You're right. I was only referring to the idea that revolutions are contagious, and the French have never had a problem following suit. But absolutely, the French and American Revolutions were structured very differently.

Yeah, that makes sense and you're right. And also a more conservative revolution took place 10 years after with the Napoleon coup.
