This is about the Sophie Long case. A father trying to protect his daughter from abuse at the hands of ex-wife boyfriend. Apparently he's quite connected and has a former police detective as a step father. Repeated horribly abuse and repeated put back into the care of the abuser. Today the father didn't show up for court (honestly don't blame him) and had a warrant issued.
Yes I remember this story and family, I followed it but then stopped getting things from the group in FB newsfeed. I didn't go looking for them I just assumed they took down their page. Horrible what the mother & step father has been doing to the little girl & I believe they may have done some things with her little brothers too, but mostly the little girl. They basically sold her to men and step father also did things. The father has been trying hard to get custody of the kids for a long time now and because step dad is or was LE he has connections and they try to make the father look like a bad person.
Also saw a video of when the mother & kids were in a "supposedly safe place" hotel room where step dad didn't know where they were, and the father was on facetime with the girl. She was giving him little signs that they weren't alone (meaning step dad was in hotel room with them), and giving him signs that she was not ok.
