For the computer illiterate out there, please don't go downloading malware posing as bittorrent clients.
Please don't use it to grab anything pirated unless you know what a VPN is and know which ones are trustworthy.
I'm on Linux, if you want a good multiplatform client, qBittorrent works well. (coincidentally it starts with a Q)

Which ones successfully fought subpoenas? It's not a 100% guarantee but I can tell you your ISP isn't going to protect you. They're already selling your data.
Its not just about fighting subpoenas. Its also those who had "hacking" issues and lost private details of their customers. These hacking incidents are most definitely cover for passing on your private details to their overlords.
Well certainly don't use a Hong Kong based VPN.
If you're referring to issues that NordVPN had, that was grossly overblown.
Watch the Techlore video's I linked to for VPN recommendations.
You want to keep anti-fa type vigilantes from revealing your identity. If it's a honey pot it would be government run and the government isn't going reveal their honey pot over this. They would be busting pirates, pedophiles, and drug cartels on a regular bases if they were.
Also I dont like the way NordVPN was being pushed on all deep state channels. But thanks for the link I will check it out.
