Recently revisited the Romanian revolution of 1989. Good shit, there are lessons there.

From Prague Spring to the Velvet Revolution and into the Romanian Revolution... As you said, there are lessons there. Sadly, most (in America) don't even know about it. The revolutions were only 32 years ago, yet are already (presumably) falling victim to the erosions of time. Fascinating history none the less. Personal stories from those who were there are saddening and enlightening. Also humbling if you will.

Specifically the corruption in the govt never left. Still exists today, bribes must be paid in order for things to happen within the govt and hospitals
