I work in “corporate America” and pedes are few and far between… 🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬

I’d like to hear what folks are doing now that our companies are mandating vaccines before coming back to the office or “require accommodation.”

I work at an F500 company that is obviously controlled by Democrats... execs are chomping at the bit to require vaccination to remain employed but knows it can't until FDA gives full approval... a month ago they implemented a vaccine certification process that allowed people who provide evidence to go maskless... yesterday they announced that starting Monday everyone has to wear masks regardless of vax status... they also said they're ramping up onsite vaccine clinics to make it easier to get vaxxed... what a fucking clown world

Right. They are telling us that unvaxxed have to get weekly testing and wear a mask.

Don’t work at an office but I do work at hospital. Masks are mandated at all times, even if you have the mark of the beast you are required to wear one unless you are alone in an office. Masks aren’t mandated in my state so realistically I have no reason to wear one. The real reason why I do is because all hospitals are following the CDC’s guidelines. Anything the CDC says, hospitals will follow.

Only way to fight back without violence currently is going to be by sending a lawsuit to the lawyers of the hospital I work for. Still waiting to hear back from my lawyer on the details of what we are planning on doing. But I intend to strike first before the require the mark of the beast here. Tbh I would be fine going bankrupt if it meant I didn’t have to wear a mask/get the jab.

Ohio here. I’m currently “needed” as I am rescuing a failed erp implementation. My cio knows I’m not vaccinated but I don’t talk about it and they sweep it under the rug. Current policy is you show your vaccine card or wear a mask. I do neither. I am trying to stay under the radar but if they force vaccines I will have to talk to the owner, who is Jewish and conservative.

If that doesn’t work I’m not sure what I will do. I know what I will not do - comply

Everyone is on the fence now, vowing to adhere to CDC "guidance". There are a lot in C level that are not complete libs but bow to the blue. I get the feeling we will start having the discussion soon though. Planning my best wrench in the effort so it does not get past just that. A conversation.

I was told my pay level was expendable and it wasn’t worth upper managements time to draw up the necessary documentation.

I work for a large company that everyone would recognize world wide. They continually push the vax and offer incentives to people who have received with time off and cash rewards. They have stated they will not mandate but our offices remain closed with only skeletons crews. With the reopening plan for some time in October people who are not vaxed must socially distance and continue to wear a mask. Meetings should be interesting with the non compliant being on one side of the table on their own. I already asked how they plan to determine if someone is vaxed as that is none of their business. So whoever sells out for the time off and cash reward will be receiving the okay to congregate and be mask free. What’s interesting is we have proven to be able to function from home so I don’t know how they can force us to vax and come back to the office.

300 person firm in the midwest. No pressure to vax and no checking of status. They do say wear a mask if you're not vaxed but I don't. Company poll had about a 50% response rate with about 80% of responses being vaxed. Poll was claimed to be anonymous but very obviously not since it was through our MS office accounts.

Spouse and I are both self employed. It's the only way to be truly free. And yes I'm very sorry for those who are trapped in the system. I know it feels impossible to think you can walk away from everything you know and start over with something you build yourself, but keep in mind the internet has really leveled the playing field for those with enough motivation to get out there and do it. It has never, in the history of the world, been as easy as it is right now, to start a business, or be self employed. When businesses can't get the workers they need, they will start respecting the liberty's of people again. If they impose any restrictions on you, it's because they believe they have more power than you at this time. We as a society need to flip this. I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I am praying every day for all of the people who are being put in this horrible position right now to be protected and to win this battle.

Tech company. I work at home anyway, no requirements yet. Literally all my coworkers are vaxxed.

Same - also in tech with all vaxxed coworkers. They keep telling me to just get it which I absolutely will not.

Factory in MI. We staff between 150 -200 employees. Their rules are level with state requirements. Vaxed = no mask, unvaxed = mask. Absolutely not enforced because they don't want to invade personal info. The Pres and HR told me last week that neither support the vax, but it ultimately isn't up to them to decided. We are owned by a board and they get to make the policy.

Looking at the past year and half of policy that was supported by the board, I think we are heading towards the vax requirement. Not really sure who will enforce it. Pres, HR and EHS are against it.
