Yep it sucks man... I got myself into a decent situation for awhile. My wife is from Korea and we moved over here right before the pandemic hit in 2019. Although I think if shit does go down... it's going to get very rough in Korea and the world, specially being this close to China.
I honestly couldn't believe how bad it was in the states when I visited Charlotte a few months back, so many homeless people on the corners, restaurants closed, fast food closed early, store shelves empty.
Oh and sorta the kicker I had my first child last year in June a son (which has been amazing)... so it just adds so much stress to everything trying to figure out what to do. I love it here in Korea.... although the hivemind mentality of everyone here is sorta disconcerting. It's funny to see a line of people checking in to get in a grocery store via QR code... everyone stands in line with nobody policing it and I just walk by everyone and go in... lol
I think all we can do brother is just try to be in our communities with like minded people, home school and just never give up. I'm hoping it shakes out, something has to give eventually.
Well I personally think a war or civil war is in the plans, or such a devastating recession that it completely takes the USA off the world stage as far as a super power goes.
They need to destroy America and capitalisms to usher in their bullshit. The bright side I think is if you live in a red state or fly over state, while it's going to be tough, shouldn't be as bad as blue states or the big cities.
