I just found out my company isn't going to mandate the vaccine. Which is a good thing.

BUT.

I am aware that not everyone is in the same position.

I just wanted to say. I am praying for you.

An email went out today from our CEO that they are paying $1,000 to those with proof of full vaccination by Oct 1st. It will be issued through payroll meaning its a bonus payment. At one time that was a 33% tax rate. That would mean $666 take home. Its likely a different tax rate now, but that was the first thing that came to mind.

They keep stressing a 70% threshold to ease restrictions on masks and whatnot. Best guess from what's being said we are around 30%. They are practically begging us to get the vax...before dropping the gauntlet from the sound of things.
