The global community is becoming aware that we are facing problems much bigger than the territorial skirmishes of the past. Our tribal instincts are telling us that our competition and rivalries with our neighbors is far less important than an elite ruling class that has gone into hyperdrive to take control over us. No longer do people believe that a country with 25 gold medals is more superior because they can run faster. Sports no longer provides a safe haven from our problems, rather it has become symbolic and a reminder of the control we are under. Olympics no longer represent “winning” and achievement but domination. You have never chosen the winners, we do.
