adsbexchange is showing Beech C-12T-3 Huron. Good to know that RC-12X is the spy version. I know from a Blackhawk friend of mine planes sometimes throw up a different plane type for security reasons. Not sure if a Beech would do that or not.
This is the one to watch: https://www.military.com/equipment/rc-135v-w-rivet-joint
I will definitely keep my eyes on this bird.
They can and do. Call it spoofing. I've tracked a RC-12X directly over my house (DC) which was running a perfect search track over about 100 sq. mi. Watch for small planes over Sioux Falls, commercial also.
Thanks for your insights fren. I enjoy learning from others.
Likewise. I have a lot of stuff flying overhead as I'm conveniently located within 20 miles of about 6 major military post/bases. I used to have these guys flying overhead all the time, never showing on radar. The activity dropped to almost noting abotu 2 months ago: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/29101/whats-the-deal-with-army-helicopters-flying-a-secret-new-mission-over-the-capital
Interesting that the article states that the air division in question has a major role in the "Continuity of Government" plans which is a major part of the Devolution theory.
Thanks for the sauce. I would imagine that if the military is conducting legit ops they wouldn't be blasting it all over public flight info sites.
