I was taught "White" is a color.

I think it was kindergarten or maybe preschool.

So, when I heard "colored people" or "POC" I always just assumed that included all us kids.

That all ended on the playground in 1st grade when some "real colored kids" beat the shit out of me to teach me the difference.

Never thanked them for that. It WAS very educational!
