In the Western Christian tradition, the hour between 3 and 4 a.m. was considered a period of peak supernatural activity – this time is also referred to as the "Devil's hour" due to it being a mocking inversion of the time in which Jesus supposedly died, which was at 3 pm.
my guess is that it's simply the most likely time for people to be in deep sleep and for it to be the darkest outside, so the most likely time for crime to happen.
Ted is an enigma to me. When he ran in the primaries, I loved him, when he went against Trump I hated him, when he supported Trump as POTUS I loved him again, and when he didn't support him on Jan 6 I couldn't stand him. And now this.
My feelings exactly! Cruz and Cotton, both had me hating them after the 6th. Now Cotton got that bill passed in the Senate, and Cruz saved the day on this one at 3;30 in the morning! I am beginning to think that their positions on the 6th were staged to throw off the deep state. They both are now coming to the rescue, like White Knights in a fairy tale!
One quick question...where were all the other republicans?!?! How is it Ted was the lone force of push back?? Did the other paid servants of the public not get the important memo about how to do their job!?!.... Wtf are they being paid for!?!?
I don't understand enough about protocol, but it's wrong those demorats can actually try to pass this BS legislation at 0330. absolutely despicable and I am grateful Lion/Lyin' Ted pulled through this time.
At what point do congressional actions edge over into treason? Personally, I believe that senator Schumer is long past that point but what recourse do we have other than censure (yeah, right) or recall (even more unlikely). Most things done in congress are immune to the force of law, but there must be some point where criminality gets recognized and acted upon.
3:30 pretty interesting time. 3:30 am is usually associated with demonic activity and are possession. They literally can’t help themselves
3 - 4 am is the witching hour.

I've had a similar thought process about Lyin' Ted.

I just called and left him a thank you message. I voted for him once in the primary before I became a huge Trump supporter.
the fact that they can even legally pull something like this and screw over the entire country is really scary. we need to take by power immediately

Was that an effort by Chucky to assume control and stop any future forensic audits?

Would any state really follow the BS law even if it passed?! Then Texas might go independent.
The guy in the end who said: "The objection is heard", is really pissed.
