My sweet, dear neighbor passed away exactly a week ago today. It wasn’t the lung cancer that killed him. It wasn’t the fact his wife had been living in an Alzheimer’s unit for the past year completely unaware of who he was. Our last conversation 2 weeks ago was the state of our country. The decisions of our lousy president. How he missed Trump and how great of a job he had done. He was an Army veteran with an extreme pride for this country. Hopefully he can look down from heaven and see his beautiful country redeemed one day ❤️

I feel that I will be joining him. So many people sitting back enjoying this movie with their popcorn while veteran after veteran dies or takes their own life. So enjoy your popcorn, glad it’s a movie you all get to watch while people that matter, people who saved and protected you without you even realizing... vanish.
I appreciate you. Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your service; you are valuable. Praying for you.
You are appreciated. Those of us here know that ‘travesty of justice’ will never adequately describe what this country, the world is going through and that our beloved veterans were screwed before they even started, yet Patriots stood up. Went to wars. Died for our country and for our way of life, never realizing we had all been lied to….about everything. I understand your feelings but here isn’t the place to condemn fren. We’re here because we’re angry af too. I will be praying for you.
