I can see this. I worked for a Fortune 500 and sat through many ethics training sessions. It was a good company and then the culture changed when we "bought" another fortune 500 and they filled the major corporate positions. Ethics could have legitimately been renamed how to avoid a lawsuit, ethics be damned. And, btw, their success depends on skilled and experienced employees. You lose specific types of engineers or try to replace them with cheaper Indians, very bad things happen.
Unfortunately I’ve been through some of these ‘ethics’ training … what shocks me more is the amount of idiots who actually believe the stuff they indoctrinate.
“Awesome training”
“Highly recommended”
“We all need to take their course”
And there I am … providing feedback in the tool, picking apart every single detail about the presenters / trainers using their very own curriculum against them.
And you know what??
They reply and apologize profusely, saying how they will do better and my feedback was awesome … you know the typical bs response.
Now that is shocking, no spine, no conviction, all push overs.
