That's interesting. What is their logic for only requiring a back plate?
I never really questioned how many plates are car should have. I suppose you could argue that they should be on the sides as well. Maybe on the roof also for police helicopters or something.
I wish I knew, I just know for the past 50 years, PA only required a back plate. Which is also a custom plate but from the dmv directly for legal purposes Ofcourse.
Same in GA. Only back plates.
Shouldn't even need a license plate. That's just another unconstitutional tax on us. All cars have a VIN, which is sufficient enough for identification of ownership.
Patrol cars are usually approaching from the rear. And when a car is leaving the scene of a crime, witnesses usually only see the rear of the car. Having one on the front is a state government money grab.
