You can meet God,come near God,be recognised as his own and known by God but I think you could not fully "know" God.
And every time people claim they "know" God,they really DESCRIBE God it is not really him but his image done by man (that could indeed lead man to him,but also can not) , and as those images are not PERFECT and NOT SO DIVINE like God is they are REFLECTIONS of him NOT HIMSELF.
Believe in God, not Religion.
And where I would have to seek God if there is nowhere allowed to see reflection of him ? He is NOT me.
Sadly I have noticed most here don't do much research into the Divine outside of Sunday Services.
you could not fully "know" God.
A hundred bagillion percent correct. I find it laughable how people claim to know the Will of an omnipotent all powerful being that exists outside of our existence... allegedly. What you "know" is what He reveals to you and that's it. It's fine to keep researching and learning, but to "know" God will take an eternity.
Jesus also came to earth for that exact reason.....to know God. Excuses don't cut it. The tenets of the Christian "religion" formed the foundation of our country. Read the founding documents; stop listening to the postmodernists, liars.
Tradition is useless without God
Well then you are for sure protestant or roman catholic.
Knowing God and being Religious are not synonymous.
Believe in God, not Religion.

Presumptuous and pedantic.
Nothing you said was claimed. It was a simple message you dont need religion to follow God.
