I had a woman who is running for a local office come by to chat and pass out her little flyer. I was cordial and didn't get into how I really felt (I realized she was a Democrat as soon as she said she would be promoting several "progressive" issues). I plan to write her an email to let her know that I will never vote for ANY Democrat, even at the local level, because by being a Democrat, they are aligning with the Democrat party, which has shown itself to be highly intent on destroying America as we know it (or used to know it). If they were smart, they would call themselves "independent", because I suspect anybody running as a "D" will be poison unto themselves in the next couple of elections.
