I was raised to believe in the "chosen" people of God. As I have aged I have learned you should evaluate people based one thing alone, and that is their actions.
The 'chosen' keep coming up sadly lacking, and consistently on the wrong side of good verses evil.
They WERE the chosen people, and that’s the line Jesus came from. I doubt they remained the chosen people after they killed the Son of God. And a whole religion sprung up around the Son of God.
Dare I say the people who choose to follow Jesus are more likely the ACTUAL chosen people, and probably not the ones who killed Him and denounced His divinity.
We got here by being politically correct, and I'n not running for office. Folks will just have to get butt hurt, but I guarantee they are getting the message, and they start paying attention to that detail once it has been pointed out.
I have had a few of the muh chosen come back and tell me I was right once it had time to soak in and and they started paying attention.
