Came here to say this...also there's no doubt that nurse shortages are happening and will hurt hospitals simply during routine care/operations. Good for the nurses for standing up...this is the only way to get businesses to reverse course.
They won't, for now. The genocide's going to get a lot worse, as the triple-downers in the Antipodes are proving. There are rumblings, but not enough yet to gather into an even discreet thunderstorm. But those rumblings we ignore at our peril. People power will coalesce into peaceful revolution, it's just disheartening - intentionally created to be so - that we've had to be pushed so far, due to the deliberate 25-year placation by shiny tech - to subdue our instinctual, atavistic defence mechanisms to this degree.

Thank you. I keep saying this but people won't get it. 25 years ago, there was a confluence of three tech factions - internet, mobile phones, reality TV. Does anyone really think it's a coincidence that it's all been societal IQ downhill since there?
Look at it from an asleep person’s perspective, though: it can easily be rationalized as the inevitable march of progress. Moore’s Law explains the technological advances. They’ll think social media and such things are simply organic outgrowths from inexpensive computing technology and information transfer.
Many people, quite reasonably, assume that these things have just happened randomly. That is, to some extent, how things work in nature- think Brownian motion, extinction events as natural selection, etc.

I have to laugh at this. We are playing the biggest game of chicken right now and we are winning. How stupid do you have to be to fire half your staff during a fucking worker shortage.

It's on the local news in AZ about the nursing shortage. When spokesperson for Banner Health was asked if the shortage was due to Banner's vax mandate, she quickly dismissed it and changed the subject. You could tell by the look in her eyes she was lying!
Is it that...or could they be trying to collapse the health care system? You have to wonder..... Maybe a game of chicken, and it that doesn't work, collapse is a decent alternative for them.
They are trying to collapse things deliberately. Not just hospitals, but all supply. The worker shortage is in all industries. I don't think we are getting out of this collapse, so better to do it on our terms than theirs.

Next there is going to be a "Presidential" executive order that all health care workers MUST get the death VAX and return to work. Just like Reagan ordered the striking Air Traffic Controllers back to work "Biden" will do the same.
