Population about 344000. Assuming 87% of that fully vaxxed, about 299000. COVID 19 Info Bot on Telegram reports 30 deaths (cumulative); over 1200 currently active cases; over 9900 confirmed cases; over 8600 recovered cases.
Well they have less people so....
Lets see, they have a greater % of vaccinated than Texas and Florida. They have 566 deaths per million against 1892 deaths per million (TEXAS) and 1915 deaths per million (FLORIDA). The surge does not matter, the vaccine is protecting them from death.

So the goal of the vaccine is to prevent death and severe disease now? I thought vaccines prevented transmission and acquisition? Preventing severe disease, isn't that what therapeutics do? Hey, you know what therapeutic costs a nickel to manufacture and prevents 90% of cases and deaths? I'll let you guess.
“The vaccine is protecting them from death”
False. At most its only protecting them from having more deaths. Meaning death is still on the table for many vaccinated people. Just think about that. This is a vaccine that doesnt keep you from getting it, spreading it, gettiing hospitalized or dying but may lower the chances of the last two for at least 6-8 months. In what world should we be happy with that type of performance from a vaccine? Thats the point. They say “this would all be over if we just had a 75% vax rate” when its obvious it wont be over at all.
