Are there not paper sleeves you are supposed to slide your ballot into, before it goes in the envelope?
Even in all-cheat-by-mail Washington, we have those. Not that it makes a difference, of course, as King County simply just discovers as many votes as they need for any election, local or statewide.
But it'd be absolutely insane if California simply doesn't even bother with the kabuki pretense of having these "privacy" sleeves?
So, can anyone currently voting in CA confirm this for me, one way or the other? Are there "privacy sleeves" included with your ballot... or no? Thx.
There are no privacy sleeves, Also I have a different ballot than the one she showed. On my ballot, all the candidates are on the same side and my envelope only has one hole.
I didn't see this video until after I sealed mine, and I cannot see the Yes i filled out on the recall question thru the hole. However, i cant confirm that the recall question would not be visible if was able to slide my ballot in the opposite way either.
