How many warnings does it take? How loss does God have to get before we listen?
“Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say, ‘These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’” Deuteronomy 31:17 NLT
FYI you should use a true Scriptural translation, like KJ or ESV, instead of a corrupted Alexandrian manuscript / Westcott and Hort derivative like the NIV and many others.

The two translations contradict with eachother:

Thank you for your input. I have researched the differences in types of translations and encourage everyone to do the same. I enjoy the NLT for understandability and poetic nature, though I read many different translations and encourage others to do so as well. May the Holy Spirit of Truth guide us to God’s will.
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 NKJV
