Australia is small enough, land wise, and sparse enough, population wise, to pull this off pretty well. America is a different story. We are just too big in both land and population to pull something like this off. I wish we could, but there must be other ways to "flatten the tyranny" as Shipwreck said in the top comment.
Obviously, we have guns, and Australia does not so they must fight back through other means. But since we have guns, it might be the last means of survival.
