the two foes approach, they could be friends but they face each other as enemies. One with a very well sharpened iron sword, the other an imaginary foam noodle. The man with nothing retorts “I do not see your swords as legitimate, it has no power to hurt me. My words and my ideas will win the day, for my noodle is the champion of today!”
Pro Tip: This is not a game.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:1 ESV
“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4:4-12 ESV
Seriously, it would be like someone quoting the Quran to you.
I didn't even read it. It's religious fairy-tales that rip families apart and steal people's lives. What you believe to be true, is not true. It's a lie.
Besides that, the god of the bible is one giant asshole unworthy of my endorsement.
Good morning. Repent and be reconciled to God, for He alone is worthy of Praise!
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Revelation 4:11 KJV
“Who would not fear you, O King of the nations? For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you. They are both stupid and foolish; the instruction of idols is but wood!”
Jeremiah 10:7-8 ESV
What type of person attempts to argue beliefs with people who ascribe to religious documents without engaging the reason for their faith at all? In fact just insult it, that’s surely how to convince someone they’re wrong. A prideful arrogant attempt to persuade a person from their personal beliefs through manipulation and a place lacking any understanding, love or empathy is destined to fail. A place of ignorant insults will never convince a soul away from their established beliefs. Beliefs often based on tested results and actually life experiences.
I didn't even read it.
Your condemn what you yourself do not understand. That’s stupid prideful ignorance.
““For my people are foolish; they know me not; they are stupid children; they have no understanding. They are ‘wise’—in doing evil! But how to do good they know not.””
Jeremiah 4:22 ESV
It doesn’t matter how you feel about God, your feelings and misunderstandings don’t change who God is or how perfectly God loves us. You chose ignorance and get upset when rightfully called foolishly.
“Great peace have they which love thy law: And nothing shall offend them.”
Psalm 119:165 KJV
You deny the power of God but your words can not see God’s power end, in fact they don’t effect it at all; However, Gods words effect you whether you want them to or not. Therefore I will forever use the sword that cuts to the quick, for though you deny its power you are wrong. One day you will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. All will. Better to do it willingly than by the realization of truth dropping you to your knees.
“Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.”
Romans 14:10-12 ESV
“What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—”
Romans 9:22-23 ESV
God loves you and calls for your repentance. Don’t be a stubborn foolish vessel created only to display God’s powerful wrath. The choice is yours and you alone will be held to account for that choice.
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud. Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips. Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
Proverbs 16:18-25 ESV
Sounds cult-ish.

I have nothing to repent for.
