Insulted you? I was called a fool by your book and its adherents because I don't see speculative things the way you all do. I pointed out that it's not kind to call anyone a fool.
I'm here due to the initial offense in which you tried to justify by over-spiritualizing it. No, calling someone a fool is never looked at as kindness.
You then just post scripture like it's conversational. Sorry, I'm here to discuss various subjects with people, not read their religious texts. If that's the only way you want to engage, you're sure to lose me.
From our perspective it’s loving to be honest and tell someone when they are being foolish. “For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” Proverbs 3:12.
The Bible is far beyond conversational, it is the living guidebook to life. Applicable in all scenarios. You questioned our beliefs, so I answered you with our beliefs but you refuse to read and engage them. I know you want me to stop quoting scripture from my faith, but they are the answers you seek. What you consider an insult is simply the truth. The Bible says I smell like death to you so I get why you’re upset. (2 Corinthians 2:15-16) You don’t understand and you refuse to listen to the explanation that contains the understanding.
I love God and because He loves you, I also love you, and too much to stop speaking the truth. I will shout the truth from the mountain top that everyone might hear and be saved.
🎶🎤Hide it under a bushel, No! I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16 ESV
Societies current calamities will continue to befall them until the consciousness of man understands it is their lack of God and the rejection therein that causes their suffering. “Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say, ‘These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’”
Deuteronomy 31:17 NLT
“My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees.”
Psalms 119:71 NLT
God corrects those He loves. And like I said originally, doesn't mince words. Despite your definition Gods actions are loving and always are for God is love.
2 Corinthians 7:8-10
Hebrews 12:5-14
