I've read that nicotine kills the S1 spike protein, and that it is known that smokers do not get Covid.
Anyone have any anecdotal evidence for or against?

All I can tell you is this.
Started smoking cigarettes around 13/14. Started smoking weed @ 19. Still smoke in / around a pack a day. Smoking less weed than a few years ago, but it's between 2-4 joints a day.
I've had the flu once in my life, at 31. Every 2 years I'll get a mild cold, mainly sticks to my sinus area. I have regular allergies to pollen and certain dusts.
I had measles in grade 1, chicken pox in grade 2. Missed ZERO days of school, including high school due to sickness since then.
I've been convinced for years it's the weed. It promotes positive cell regeneration, it's why they give to cell degenerate disease patients ; cancers, parkinson's, MS for example. I personally know people with each of these issues, all 3 have basically gone into full remission w/in a year of regular puffs.
I have zero medical proof to any of this, just straight with my own eyes ( and own health ) experiences.
